South Africa won the toss and decided to bat in the second one-day international against Pakistan at SuperSport Park on Friday.
Fast bowler Dale Steyn returned to the South African team for the day-night game in place of Rory Kleinveldt. Pakistan also made one change, with left-arm fast bowler Mohammad Irfan replacing batsman Asad Shafiq.
Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Irfan took four wickets in a devastating opening spell to set up a six-wicket win in the second one-day international against South Africa on Friday.
Tall left-armer Irfan took a career-best four for 33 in seven overs as South Africa were bowled out for 191 in a match reduced to 44 overs a side.
Pakistan achieved victory with 4.4 overs to spare, captain Misbah-ul-Haq anchoring his side’s chase, making 57 not out.
The win levelled the five-match series at 1-1 after South Africa had cruised to a 125-run win in Bloemfontein last weekend with the third game to be played in Johannesburg on Sunday.

Pakistan is all set to take on South Africa in the 2nd ODI match of the five matches series in Centurion as South Africa is leading the series 1-0.
Earlier this week, A brainstorming session of the Pakistani team was held for the senior players in South Africa, where the Pakistani team is playing one day international series against Proteas.
Constant failures of Pakistan’s batting lineup in test series and defeat by a huge margin of 125 runs in the first ODI has forced the team management to consult senior players over the failures.
According to sources, the meeting, which was called by Coach Dave Whatmore, asked senior players to freely give their views and point out the lapses, which caused the batsmen to get out early in the innings.
The meeting was attended by Misbahul Haq (Captain), Mohammad Hafeez (Vice-Captain), Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Kamran Akmal, Younus Khan, Abdul Rehman, Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal.
No junior player was invited in the meeting, which discussed the problems faced by the team in the South African tour.
Weather and conditions
It has rained in Centurion and around in past few days. On Wednesday, South Africans were forced to practice indoors due to showers and the forecast for Friday is rain as well. But it doesn’t threaten a complete wash out, like it happened in Durban two Fridays ago. The Centurion wicket is one of the bounciest in the country, will have plenty of juice for fast bowlers. It will be only second time in Centurion that an ODI will be played under the new playing conditions which have two new balls. The previous one was reduced overs affair in 2011 between Australia and South Africa.
Pakistan face plenty of dilemma on team selection. They have hinted return of third pacer, Mohammad Irfan or Wahab Riaz, and Umar Akmal, but question is who will be dropped?
Pakistan (likely playing 11): 1) Nasir Jamshed, 2) Mohammad Hafeez, 3) Younis Khan/Asad Shafiq, 4) Misbah-ul-Haq, 5) Shoaib Malik/Umar Akmal, 6) Kamran Akmal (wicketkeeper), 7) Shahid Afridi, 8) Junaid Khan 9) Umar Gul, 10) Saeed Ajmal, 11) Mohammad Irfan/Wahab Riaz
Dale Steyn has returned from Los Angeles and Morne Morkel has started to heal but selection of both the fast bowlers still looks slender. South Africa are likely to go in with the same playing eleven that won in Bloemfontein.
South Africa (likely playing 11): 1) Hashim Amla, 2) Graeme Smith, 3) Colin Ingram, 4) AB de Villiers (wicketkeeper), 5) Faf du Plessis, 6) Farhaan Behardien, 7) Ryan McLaren , 8) Robin Peterson, 9) Kyle Abbott, 10) Rory Kleinveldt , 11) Lonwabo Tsotsobe
